The Coast Guard Cutter SPAR (WLB 206) assists the motor vessel Lee A. Tregurtha after report was received that it was beset by ice near the port of Duluth on Lake Superior, April 3, 2026. The SPAR arrived on scene and broke the ice around the Tregurtha in order to allow it to continue moving to its destination. (U.S. Coast Guard photo by SPAR personnel)
