Soldiers assigned to the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) configure an AEVEX ATLAS Ground Control System (GCS) during a Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) rotation at Fort Polk, April 1, 2026. This rotation marks the first time the AEVEX ATLAS system has been integrated into training at JRTC. The ATLAS GCS, featuring a 30-foot mast and integrated interface box, enables small units to deploy loitering munitions and unmanned aerial systems (UAS). (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Mariam Diallo)
