1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, conducts a transfer of authority ceremony as it assumes responsibility from 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, during a rotational deployment in support of V Corps operations, April 2, 2026.
The ceremony marked the official transition of mission responsibilities as “Ready First” assumed operations in Europe, reinforcing the United States’ commitment to NATO allies and regional security. Leadership and personnel from 3rd Infantry Division Headquarters, Task Force Marne, were also present to support and observe the transition.
The transfer of authority signifies continuity of operations, interoperability with allied forces, and the sustained presence of U.S. Army forces across Europe.
