ANNAPOLIS, Md. (March 31, 2026) Midshipmen from the United States Naval Academy tour the USS Iowa (SSN-797) during a visit. The engagement provided an opportunity for midshipmen to gain insight into life at sea, leadership, and the legacy of surface warfare. As the undergraduate college of our country's naval service, the Naval Academy prepares young men and women to become professional officers of competence, character, and compassion in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
