Chad Turner, Garrison Command Sergeant Major for the Camp Ripley Training Center joined members of the Minnesota National Guard’s Sexual Assault Response Coordinator team to welcome personnel and visitors to Camp Ripley and share material recognizing Sexual Assault Awareness Month April, 1, 2026. The Minnesota National Guard observes Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month every April by promoting a culture of dignity and respect through events like the “Teal Torch Relay”, participating in “Denim Day”, to support survivors and raising awareness during "Teal Tuesdays". The Minnesota Guard emphasizes year-round prevention with on-call Sexual Assault Response Coordinators (SARC) available to provide 24/7 support.
