The Minnesota National Guard observes Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month every April by promoting a culture of dignity and respect through events like the “Teal Torch Relay”, participating in “Denim Day”, to support survivors and raising awareness during "Teal Tuesdays". The Minnesota Guard emphasizes year-round prevention with on-call Sexual Assault Response Coordinators (SARC) available to provide 24/7 support.
