The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Far East District hosted the 51st Civil Engineer Squadron for an inside look at the district’s Materials Testing Laboratory on Feb. 5, 2026, at Camp Humphreys, South Korea. During the visit, they saw concrete testing in action as part of quality testing on projects throughout the peninsula. As the only American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM)-certified lab in Korea, the lab ensures materials meet strict quality standards from design through final placement, helping projects perform as intended.
