During a visit to a U.S. Army Corps of Engineer’s – Far East Districts (USACE FED) project, Mr. Jose E. Sánchez, Regional Business Director, USACE Pacific Ocean Division, inspected East Elementary School on Aug. 21, 2025, at Camp Humphreys. Sarah Woo, Chief of Engineering, USACE FED, reviews the progress of the construction for East Elementary during Mr. Sánchez’s visit. The two-story, state-of-the-art school will serve 440 students, with the ability to accommodate up to 600. This new facility will be the third elementary school and fifth school constructed by FED on the garrison, bringing our total capacity for elementary students to nearly 2,400.
