    U.S. Army Soldiers with the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border, land a CH-47 Chinook during the delivery of a Skydio X10, small unmanned aircraft system, to the 130th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, Task Force-Guardian in San Antonio, Texas, March 28, 2026. Task Force-Guardian uses the Skydio X10 to detect suspected illegal aliens attempting to cross the U.S. Southern Border. U.S. Northern Command is working side-by-side with the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection within narrowly defined authorities to provide unique military capabilities to protect the territorial integrity of the U.S. southern border.
