Staff from U.S. Naval Hospital Guam talk with representatives from the Joint Trauma System (JTS) Support and Consultation Branch at the military medical treatment facility Jan. 28, 2026. During the visit, which occurred Jan. 27-29, JTS personnel conducted a comprehensive review of the hospital’s trauma program, including policy and documentation assessments, medical record reviews, and a facility walkthrough to evaluate trauma care processes and identify opportunities to strengthen trauma capabilities. The visit supports ongoing efforts to align USNH Guam’s trauma program with national standards and best practices to improve for injured patients.
