Eight Pennsylvania National Guard Soldiers were awarded the Pennsylvania Commendation medal at Fort Indiantown Gap on March 30, 2026, for their participation in the Lithuanian Land Forces' Best Infantry Squad Competition recently in Lithuania. The Best Infantry Squad Competition is an intense, multi-day, annual military competition that included teams from the active-duty Army as well as NATO allies and partners.
