JOINT EXPEDITIONARY BASE LITTLE CREEK-FORT STORY, VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. - A diver assigned to Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) dives into the water to check the alignment of a landing craft unit during a docking evolution on the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) auxiliary floating dry-dock Dynamic (AFDL 6). Dynamic, a MARMC field activity, is the Navy's oldest floating dry-dock, and it is capable of docking Mine Countermeasure (MCM) and Patrol Coastal (PC) ships, Landing Craft Utility (LCU) and similar-sized service crafts. MARMC provides surface ship maintenance, management and oversight of private sector maintenance and fleet technical assistance to ships in the Mid-Atlantic region.
