U.S. and Estonia Conduct Joint Field Blood Transfusion Training

U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Trey Tardio, assigned to the 327th Military Police Battalion, 102nd Military Police Company, instructs Estonian 1st and 2nd Infantry Brigade Role 2 hospital personnel—comprised of active duty and reservists—on administering a field blood transfusion in Tartu, Estonia, on March 25, 2026. The training consisted of a two-part course: classroom instruction followed by a hands-on practical exercise. The training enhanced interoperability by enabling Estonian counterparts to exchange techniques and refine procedures for conducting blood transfusions in both well-equipped and resource-limited environments.(U.S. Army Video by Sgt. James Garcia)
