Spencer Ovren, commanding officer, Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Greeneville (SSN 772) left, gives an introductory brief to representatives from the City of Coronado and Fire and Emergency Services during a distinguished visitor embark, March 9, 2026. Greeneville is assigned to commander, Submarine Squadron 11, home to four Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarines, which are capable of supporting various missions, including anti-submarine warfare, anti-ship warfare, strike warfare and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
