U.S. Army Col. Stephen Richmond, commander of the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command, accepts the unit guidon of the Fort Sill, Okla.-based 3rd Battalion, 2nd Air Defense Artillery Regiment, from outgoing commander U.S. Army Lt. Col. Charles E. Branson. The change of command ceremony on June 14 in Gaziantep, Turkey highlighted the continued presence of American Patriot missile units serving as part of the NATO mission to protect the Turkish population from ballistic missile threats.
