Steven Gabrielson, the sergeant major of MALS-11, cut the ribbon during a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the opening of the new Centralized Engine Repair Facility at MCAS Miramar, California, March 20, 2026. The ceremony recognized the time and effort that numerous organizations have invested in developing and building the facility, which directly increases the operational capabilities of the Marine Aircraft Group 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing and MCAS Miramar.
