A team of combat engineers makes their way up a hill during the 10-mile ruck march at the Sapper Stakes competition held at Fort McCoy, Wis., June 16. The two-day competition held by the 863rd Engineer Battalion based out of Darien, Ill., was incorporated within Operation Essayons and included both physical and mental events.
