Army Lt. Col. Richard Scott, commander of the 1st Squadron (Airborne), 40th Cavalry Regiment, conducts an after-action review with his soldiers at the completion of a section level dismounted live fire at the Infantry Platoon Battle Course, June 19, 2013. As they traversed the 250-meter course, soldiers engaged targets as a team as they learned to react to contact, conduct a hasty attack using bounding overwatch techniques to reach their objectives, and use proper procedures for reporting casualties and re-supply needs.
