PABRADĖ TRAINING AREA, Lithuania — A U.S. Army Soldier assigned to 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment throws a grappling hook to clear potential hazards prior to breaching a wire obstacle during a spur ride at Camp Herkus, Pabradė Training Area, Lithuania, March 21, 2026. After dragging the hook across the ground to reduce the risk of hidden obstacles, the Soldier advanced toward the objective as part of a series of tasks designed to test tactical proficiency, discipline and mental resilience alongside multinational partners from Croatia, Netherlands, Norway and the Czech Republic.
