Alexander Osorio, a martial arts instructor (MAI) trainer with 1st Low Altitude Air Defense, Marine Air Control Group 18, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, observes and provides guidance to Marines during an MAI course culminating event at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, March 12, 2026. The MAI course strengthened Marines’ mental, physical, and character disciplines through tough, realistic training, preparing Martial Arts Instructors to teach basic combative techniques throughout their units.
