Avionics Marines of Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward) troubleshoot and repair the defense mechanisms on many of the aircraft aboard the Camp Taqaddum. The MALS-16 Marines provide an intermediate level of maintenance support to the flying squadrons here, limiting the length of time aircraft are grounded.
