A U.S. Army Soldier assigned to the 25th Infantry Division is awarded the Expert Field Medical Badge during the closing ceremony for E3B testing at the Conroy Bowl, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, on March 19, 2026. The ceremony concluded a month of daily training and testing on a multitude of Soldier skills. The purpose of the Expert Infantryman, Soldier, and Field Medical Badges, commonly referred to as E3B, is to create experts at all levels, across all organizations, increasing the readiness and lethality of teams, squads, and platoons.
