(Feb. 23, 2026) Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Austin Boles, Command Education and Training Team (CEAT) Leading Petty Officer (LPO) and instructor, assigned to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Pensacola, provides instruction on how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) at Naval Hospital Pensacola (NHP) during an Emergency Medical Response exercise on Feb. 23, 2026. NMRTC Pensacola and branch clinics held an annual nursing and corpsmen competency skills fair at NHP from Feb. 23 to Feb. 27, 2026 to promote medical operational readiness through medical simulations and trainings ranging from medical emergency response drills, blood specimen collection, general patient assessment surveys, medication administration, basic life support (BLS) and suicide safety watch procedures and risk mitigation.
