U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. David Caldwell, an air traffic control tower operations chief assigned to the 245th Combat Airfield Operations Squadron, South Carolina Air National Guard, confirms radios, intercoms and communication links are fully operational in a MSN-7 mobile tower before flight operations begin at McEntire Joint National Guard Base, South Carolina, March 6, 2026. Double-checking the system provided Caldwell with insight of the current communication function of the MSN-7 mobile tower system, confirming full operational control to support clearances, advisories and rapid response to any in-flight issues.
