The 1st Battalion, 175th Infantry Regiment from the Maryland Army National Guard conducted a squad training weekend March 13-16 at U.S. Army Support Activity-Fort Dix on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. The focus of the exercise is squad-level infantry and mortar training. The 1-175 IN is one of the oldest units in the United States Army, having participated in the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War, World War I, World War II, and the Global War on Terrorism.
