U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Brian Elliot, an explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technician assigned to the 720th Ordnance Company, 18th Military Police Brigade, work with Kenya Defence Forces engineers assigned to 10th engineer battalion during a Justified Accord 2026 demolition explosive effects training event at Bearing Point 5, Laresoro, Kenya, March 11, 2026. The demonstration provided partner forces with a better understanding of explosive effects and safe demolition procedures while strengthening interoperability between participating forces.
JA26 increases multinational interoperability in support of humanitarian assistance and crisis response, prepares regional partners for United Nations and African Union missions, and builds readiness for the U.S. joint force.
