Garret Pluhar, a pilot from 1-229 Attack Battalion, 16th Combat Aviation Brigade, 7th Infantry Division, after he landed an AH‑64E Apache helicopter at Fort Bliss, Texas, on Feb. 12, 2026. The aircraft is part of the first shipment of AH‑64E models being transferred to the 1st Armored Division’s Combat Aviation Brigade as the unit continues its modernization efforts.
