First Lt. Zachary Powell, a dual seat navigator, and Capt. Brian Cook, a radar navigator, both with the 20th Bomb Squadron, Barksdale Air Force Base, La., conduct a pre-flight inspection prior to a sortie on a B-52H Stratofortress, June 12, 2013. The B-52 is capable of flying at high subsonic speeds at altitudes up to 50,000 feet.
