U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 25th Transportation Battalion and the 498th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion operate a Convoy Support Center alongside Soldiers from the Republic of Korea Army 2nd Operational Command at Yeongju Rest Stop, Yeongju, Republic of Korea, March 12, 2026, during Freedom Shield 2026. The site provided fuel, water, and food to convoy elements while allowing U.S. and ROK forces to rehearse combined sustainment operations and improve interoperability during contingency-focused training as senior leaders from both armies visited to observe the operations.
