Freedom Shield 26 (FS26) is a bilateral, combined, joint defensive exercise conducted annually by the Republic of Korea (ROK) and the United States under the ROK-U.S. Alliance. The exercise strengthens combined readiness, enhances operational command and control, and ensures both nations remain together and prepared to respond to any threat on the Korean Peninsula.
