Combined medical training builds readiness at Justified Accord 2026

U.S. Army Capt. Warren Kothrade, commander of the 307th Forward Resuscitative and Surgical Detachment, 807th Medical Command (Deployment Support) and Kenya Defence Forces medical personnel work together to remove a simulated casualty from an ambulance during a Justified Accord 2026 medical training exercise at Bearing Point 2, Laresoro, Kenya, March 7, 2026. The 307th, a U.S. Army Reserve unit based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is participating in this annual, combined exercise that strengthens medical readiness, enhances teamwork and improves interoperability between U.S. and KDF forces during complex operations.

JA26 increases multinational cooperation in support of humanitarian assistance and crisis response, prepares regional partners for United Nations and African Union missions, and builds readiness for the U.S. joint force. Led by the U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) and hosted in Djibouti, Kenya and Tanzania, Justified Accord 2026 is U.S. Africa Command’s largest exercise in East Africa.
