U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Melissa McDaniel, 409th Contracting Support Brigade contracting officer, runs through a friendship tower during the German and American Friendship Days at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Feb. 26, 2026. Participants from every branch of service took part in the week-long German American Friendship Days performed marksmanship, swimming, endurance and other physical fitness trials.
