ATLANTIC Ocean (February 15, 2026) – Sonar Technician (submarine) 2nd Class Landon Nichols stands a control watch onboard Virginia-class fast-attack submarine USS Delaware (SSN 791) at Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Conn., Feb. 15, 2026. Delaware departed Groton in support of Operation ICE CAMP 2026. Delaware and crew operate under Submarine Squadron (SUBRON) TWELVE and its primary mission is to provide attack submarines that are ready, willing, and able to meet the unique challenges of undersea combat and deployed operations in unforgiving environments across the globe.
