U.S. Marines with Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, conduct a raid as a part of Iron Fist 26 at Landing Zone Dodo, Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 26, 2026. The Marines trained alongside Japanese allies in order to mutually strengthen our lethal and ready forces. Iron Fist is an annual bilateral exercise designed to increase operational integration and strengthen the relationships between the U.S. Marine Corps, the U.S. Navy, the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
