Osmund Nogra, a surgeon with Headquarters Company, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB), talks about the importance of the individual first aid kit (IFAK) during casualty care refresher training in the San Diego sector, Calif., March 4, 2026. The IFAK is an issued kit to meet the needs of lifesaving injuries in the field.
