Participants in the 25th Infantry Division E3B testing conducted a 12-mile ruck march in under three hours at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, on March 6, 2026. The ruck march was the final event concluding a month of daily training and testing on a multitude of Soldier skills. The purpose of the Expert Infantryman, Soldier, and Field Medical Badges is to create experts at all levels, across all organizations, increasing the readiness and lethality of teams, squads, and platoons.
