1st Armored Division Soldiers participate in the CrossFit event at Fort Bliss, Texas, March 3, 2026. The event includes 300 deadlifts, 100 burpees, 50 tire flips, 200 pull-ups, and a kettlebell carry down and back on the field; the fastest team to complete the course wins. The CrossFit event is part of Torch Week, an annual celebration commemorating the division’s role in Operation Torch, the Allied invasion of North Africa in 1942 during World War II.
