    U.S. Airmen assigned to the 857th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and 16th Weapons Squadron, applaud the reveal of a new heritage tail on an F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft during a dedicated crew chief ceremony at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, Feb. 27, 2026. The 857th AMXS provides critical maintenance for F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft, including those from the 16th Weapons Squadron, to support rapid, combat-ready training for the U.S. Air Force Weapons School.
