An excavated pond with a 10mm poly-plastic liner, equipped with a pump, discharges stormwater runoff through a series of ponds to bypass the Potomac Interceptor pipeline collapse site, as part of a project led by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, on Feb. 28, 2026.
