U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to 2nd Cavalry Regiment conduct sniper training alongside German officer candidates from the University of the Bundeswehr Munich during a Joint Small Arms Training at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, Feb. 10–12, 2026. Participants employed the M4 carbine equipped with advanced fire control optics to refine target acquisition, stability, and shot placement under pressure. The training enhanced individual lethality and strengthened interoperability between U.S. and German forces, reinforcing their ability to communicate effectively, maneuver deliberately, and operate as a cohesive team.
