U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Brandon Hale, a rifleman with 12th Littoral Combat Team, 12th Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, receives a shooting award during a squad competition award ceremony on Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 27, 2026. The squad competition evaluated Marines’ physical fitness, tactical proficiency, and advanced marksmanship skills. The winning squad from 3rd MARDIV will go on to compete in the Marine Corps Rifle Squad Competition in Quantico, Virginia hosted by Headquarters Marine Corps. Hale is a native of Arizona.
