U.S. Army Capt. Eric Blake leaves the starting block during a swimming training session, Feb. 28, 2026, at the Aquatics Training Center, Fort Bliss, Texas, during the 2026 Army Recovery Care Program’s Army Trials. About 80 wounded, ill and injured active-duty Soldiers and veterans are competing in the following adaptive sports: archery, cycling, field, indoor rowing, powerlifting, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track, wheelchair basketball, and wheelchair rugby.
