Williamsburg, Va. (February 26, 2026) EOD1 Chris Golmitz, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Two (EODMU-2) Detachment Yorktown dons a protective suit under the bleachers at the Kaplan Arena onboard the College of William and Mary. Golmitz presented the game ball during opening ceremonies at the College of William & Mary’s men’s basketball game against Northeastern University. Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit TWO (EODMU-2), based at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, VA, is a combat-ready Navy command that clears explosive hazards, including conventional, chemical, and nuclear weapons.
