Stephen Cothern, a logistics specialist with 2nd Distribution Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, operates a burner during cold weather training in preparation for exercise Cold Response 26 in Elvegardsmoen, Norway, Feb. 21, 2026. The three-day training taught Marines and Sailors how to survive and operate in extreme cold weather conditions, increasing their warfighter capabilities.
