Diana Pike is escorted to her seat by Master Chief Cryptologic Technician (Collection) Joseph Lara during a memorial service for her son, Chief Cryptologic Technician (Technical) Christian M. Pike, at Naval Special Warfare Support Activity One. Pike, 31, died March 12 in Landstuhl, Germany, as a result of combat-related injuries sustained on March 10 while conducting stability operations in Maiwand district, Afghanistan.
