    U.S. Soldiers assigned to 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) arm attack drones in a simulated drone training at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, Feb. 19, 2026. By providing critical technical support on the drone's payload, 1st SFG(A) Explosive Ordnance Disposal specialists directly enhanced the lethality and effectiveness of the attack drone for special operations missions.

    1st SFG (A) conducts special operations throughout the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility to support command objectives and U.S. national interests. The group maintains and employs units capable of executing the full spectrum of special operations at a moment’s notice with its allies, partners, and the joint force.
