(Feb. 24, 2026) – Yeoman (Submarine) 1st Class Sebastian Gonzalez, assigned to Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Alexandria (SSN 757) and from Santa Monica, California, pets Goldi, an English Labrador Retriever service dog, while speaking to Carol Davis, a service dog trainer with Pawsitive Teams, during a Pawsitive Teams visit to Naval Base Point Loma, Feb. 24, 2026. Alexandria is assigned to Commander, Submarine Squadron 11, home to four Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarines, which are capable of supporting various missions, including anti-submarine warfare, anti-ship warfare, strike warfare and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
