U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Lisa Ahaesy, commander of the Massachusetts Air National Guard, and senior leaders from the 101st Field Artillery Regiment met with local public safety and emergency management leaders at the Emergency Operations Center at the Fall River Fire Department Headquarters in Fall River, Massachusetts, Feb. 25, 2026, to discuss response efforts following a severe snowstorm. Members of the Massachusetts National Guard provided medical and logistical support to the City of Fall River Emergency Medical Services to assist with patient transport and ground movements, supporting local emergency services and ensuring timely evacuation and treatment for residents of Fall River.
