The U.S. Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center is home to the Sierra Nevada Mountain range, and is located in Bridgeport, California, Feb. 7, 2026. The Mountain Training Exercise, held at the MWTC is a month-long exercise designed to prepare units to survive and operate effectively in austere, mountainous terrain, further developing character, mental, spiritual and physical endurance and resiliency.
