U.S. Army Sgt. Kelly Mews sets up a tent at base camp #3 after completing the ski march up the mountain near Haltdalen, Norway, Feb. 9, 2026. This tent will not be used for sleeping tonight; it is being established in case emergency shelter is needed. Over the previous 4 days, members of the 53rd Norwegian Reciprocal Troop Exchange adjusted from surviving to thriving while living in a Arctic environment.
