U.S. Army Installation Management Command Directorate – Western Hemisphere command team recognize Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield with its plaque for 2nd place overall in the 2024 IMCOM Best Garrison Competition, which names the top 5 installations out of 104 total. ID-WH leaders participated in the Installation Planning Board Feb. 19, 2026, at Club Stewart on Fort Stewart, Georgia. The IPB is an annual meeting between IMCOM and senior leaders to form an agreement on priorities of efforts for the upcoming year.
